Equine massage is the manipulation of a horse's soft muscle tissues, a therapy practice that utilizes specialized techniques to improve or enhance their physical and mental well-being. Physical responses to massage include enhanced muscle tone, increased flexibility and range of motion, a reduction in pain, soreness, and stiffness, and improved circulation. Through these benefits, you will see improvements in performance and recovery, while also acting as a preventative measure towards injury. This practice promotes relaxation by calming their nervous system and reducing anxiety, and for young horses, builds trust and confidence in handling and touch.
Pricing & Policies
The massage is tailored to your horse's needs based on any health concerns or conditions, and any tight or sore areas that need a little extra attention. This process is an hour long and includes an initial evaluation, massage, and light stretching. This service is a flat rate of $125.00.
Service visits over one hour away from the Temecula area are subject to a $50 travel fee, and for two hours, a $75 travel fee to cover time and expenses. To thank you for booking multiple horses, I am happy to waive the travel fee for a group of three horses or more. Please let me know of any schedule changes at least 24 hours in advance. Less than 24-hour cancellations will result in a $50.00 cancellation fee.
